*** I think so . I mean , like, we went on a date. I suppose that would constitute dating. And it went really well. We're doing the whole take it slow thing, like I told you. I didn't even try to kiss her or anything afterward. But yeah, I think it's going great. I sent her a text message to see if she wanted to get together maybe later tonight in a little bit so ...
___ Great! That is great! Great news! So you think that you guys are pretty much just into each other then, right?

*** I think so. I mean...I don't know. I hope so.
___ That is great news!

*** Oh, I'm vibrating. Hang on.
___ Is it her?

*** Yeah. It's her, oh...!
___ What?

*** Uh, She said that she wants to hang out tonight but that I should know that she is seing Mason.
___ What?

*** Yeah, I know
___ What? No,no,no. What?

*** Yeah, I mean that's what it says, look.
___ No, This is all wrong. I mean, for you. This terrible for you.

___ It was good, I heard from Devan earlier, so uh, that was cool. We talked . Kind of cleared the air a little bit...

*** Uh, what was that?
___ Devan gave me a call.

*** Girl Devan or boy Devan?
___ C'mon , you know Devan. Devan , Devan. I felt bad , you know I felt bad about the whole thing...

*** Did she call you or did you call her?
___ She gave me a buzz. I felt weird calling her , so I'm glad she took the initiative. Why? Is there, like , a problem?

*** No, that's fine. So what were we going to order?
___ Are you seriously shaking this off right now? What's going on?

*** I just , I don't know , if you know that somebody likes you and we're in this commited thing, why would you take her call?
___ 'Cause I wanted to see what she had to say...and she was totally trying to make things cool again.

*** I think that's what voicemail's for.
___ Oh, 'cmon... Whatever...

*** Like answer...Ignore. Ignore.
___ Devan and I are friends, right? I'm not just going to ignore what was going on.

*** I guess I don't want to be high maintenance , but how do you think ...
___ Well I think you are being a little high maintenance in all honesty.

*** If I were Devan , I might think that I made some hedgeway. Is that a word?
___ Oh, get over it. I can't even believe that you're not over this. Like you won. Let it go.

*** I kinda feel like calling Jason righ now. I wonder what's he doing...
___ Whatever. Fine, do it. I don't even care. You know what?

*** He doesn't have to ask what kind of pizza I like because he knows...
___ I'll call him...I'll call him...

Today more people speak English than before. Why is it? In many aspects of life English is the key. International business is conducted in English – when a Mexican talks to japanese bussinesman or a Brazilian talks to german – and so are most diplomatic relations. Nearly eighty per cent of all scientific writing is in English, and English is the international language of pop culture. Björn Ulvaeus, a member of the famous group ABBA, says that English “sound better” than his native Swedish!

There are many varieties of English, but the two major ‘Englishes’ are probably those of the United States and the United Kingdom. But students should be careful, because the british and the Americans use differents words for the same things. When the British say biscuit the Americans say cookie. English trousers are American pants, and Americans do not live in flats, they live in apartments. But whatever variety you speak, you can be sure it will be useful over the world.

During the time we studied together I tried to show you this language through many different ways. We studied grammar , improved our vocabulary, had lessons with regard to business and TOEIC. I'd say you are much better now than seven months ago when we began our English project. Even though you are not speaking it fluently , as it was supposed to be, I'm sure you are more prepared to face the challenges you will , certainly , find in your career.

You were , without no doubts, one of my favorite students ...and , I will always remember the good moments we've spent together in class. i hope we can find a way around it . Never quit to study.
