In this lesson you asked me to explain you how to use the verb "look" with some prepositions. I taught you that when a preposition changes the meaning of some verb , this verb is called " phrasal verb" but when a preposition only indicates a position like " up, down,behind...' and the verb keeps its original mood ; this is called " prepositional verb ". The verb chosen by you is perfect to show it.
### Look - as a prepositional verb
1- Look up / down
* I was looking up when the plane crashed. She is so shy that always looks down when somebody is talking with her.
2- Look in/ into
* I asked her to look in my eyes to see if I was lying , so she looked into my eyes and I told her all the truth about my feelings.
### Look - as phrasal verb
1- Look at
* When she looked at me I got nervous. I like to look at her when she is eating popcorn. Stop looking at me! I am engaged! I wasn't looking at you I was looking at the windows.
2- Look for
* I need to look for a new job this year. What are you looking for here? . She was looking for you all day long. I'm tired of looking for you.
3- Look after
* When Larissa's mother was traveling to USA , Larissa looked after her Daddy. Who will look after Henrique and Gabriel if Michelle starts to work? I look after my life and you look after yours.
4- Look forward
* I look forward our next class. When Larissa was in Rio , she was actually looking forward her lessons with J.B. I look forward to know if she likes me the way I like her.

Kandy's Birthday
Kandy wanted her mother to give her a big birthday party. She also wanted to invite her boyfriend David and many other friends. Kandy wanted to go to the supermarket to buy things to eat and drink...but her mother prefered to make everything at home. They only bought coke and vanilla strawberry ice cream. They didn't buy chocolate ice cream because Kandy doesn't like it.
Everything is on the table now. A beautiful big cake, a lot of candies, sandwiches, ice cream , lemonade, coke , silverware, napkins and the camera ...Kandy wanted so much.
David is there and all of her friends singing happy birthday to you ...and one of her friends plays it on the guitar.
A yellow butterfly comes in because the windows is opened. It sits down on the coke bottle between Kandy and David.
And Kandy thinks " I want to have a birthday twice or three times a year or more.

Letter to Sta Claus
To Santa Claus, North Pole
Dear Santa, I'm that nice guy who lives next to Pete's house. Do you remember Pete? He is that ugly fellow with the big mouth who is always in a bad moody. He doesn't know how to play because he is always studying. I'm sorry to have to say he is my cousin.
My mother who is Pete's aunt thinks he is great. I know he isn't . So I put some ants in his mouth yesterday afternoon. Mother is still very angry at me but you understand me Sta Claus, I know. You watch him all the time, so you know...you know I only don't study all the time because I don't like to. Because of all this, dear Santa Claus ...I know you don't agree with mother who thinks you want to give a bicycle to Pete on Christmas , but don't want to give one to me because I am a bada boy.
Please Santa, Oh Please! Don't forget to bring me my blue cross bicycle, the one I want so much.
Just in case mother is right, she usually is. I understand I have to study, to help mother, to be nice to Pete and to all other people.
Do you want to help me to be a good boy Santa Claus?
Love
Jhonny.
P.S : Don't forget the bicycle. Cross and Blue!
