Today we are going to study the verb to be in the Present, Past and Future simple tense. The first thing we must know is that there are three ways that we usually use the verb to be.
* We use it before an adjective.
# I am happy for you.
* We use it before a noun.
# She is my mother.
* We use it before a gerund verb to express progress.
# They are studying at Plugnet.
The verb to be is one of the most important english verbs and its conjugation defers from the conjugation of the rest of the verbs.
